About Me
Hey. I’m Janine Arthur (aka Coach Janine). I’m a mother of three, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, youth sports coach, mentor and friend. As a trainer and a coach, I see you as a whole person in all your complexity. We are all unique and you’re more than a body to me.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned athlete, I will provide you with a strength and conditioning program to meet your needs. I will teach you, challenge you, and push you to be your best both physically and mentally.

My athletic background includes basketball, track and field, yoga, long distance running, weightlifting and HIIT training. I’ve been an athlete for most of my life and l love competition. I’ve also coached youth sports for more than a decade. From this diverse background, I’ve developed my own philosophy on strength and conditioning, one that’s summarized in two words: GRACE and GRIT.

GRIT is at the heart of exercise and fitness. It’s the motivation to push out one more rep, one more mile, one more day. It’s what separates the elite from the average. But sometimes it feels like life - work, family, school - can get in the way of exercise.
That’s where GRACE comes in. We aren’t perfect and failure isn’t the end, but a part of the process. Giving grace to yourself and others isn’t just good, it’s necessary for anyone who wants to live a full life and avoid the burnout of grit alone.
Through grace and grit, I believe living a strong and healthy life can be a gift, not a burden.
